Give Me Your Forever

Lately things have been up in the air has to what direction my future is headed.  My husband was recently laid off and with him being the planner in the relationship I was the one that was rattled. His calm approach and positive attitude amazes me.  I'm so blessed to have married  such an amazing man, he is forever surprising me.  Which makes me think a song from our wedding.  Ben Harper's "Forever" and I have to smile, because even though I don't know what adventures our future holds I can honestly say that I'm looking forward to it because we can face it together.

UNITED IN ORANGE!

Today in Denver if you're a Bronco's fan there is a phenomenon going on for the playoffs.  

  

When I stumbled across this picture of me and my husband from last fall, I had to smile because the first thought that popped into my head after seeing us in our orange shirts was that we are completely united in orange.  And even though I'm more comfortable taking pictures than being in them I could not help but include it.

Rescue Me

Nine years ago today my husband (boyfriend at the time) asked me to come with him to check something out.  We drove across town and up to house and when the owner opened the door and I saw the face that has melted my heart ever since.  Everyone that meets him falls in love as well. He's just that special.

We rescued him through the Golden Retriever Freedom Rescue and he has brought so much joy to my life. I love my boy and in a lot of ways he's rescued me.Here's some pictures that celebrate some of the many wonderful times I've spent with him so far.
